Sunday 24th June 2018 will see the annual Cricket match on the village green where North Ryarsh will face off against South Ryarsh in an attempt to retain the trophy and title of village victors. In a good hearted 20-over match, overseen by experienced referee Andy Beard, South were defeated in 2017 and hope to see a return of dignity this year in what promises not to be such a whitewash for the beleaguered team.

Spectators are very welcome, the match kicks off at 12:30. The trophy can be seen in all it’s glory before the match in the Duke of Wellington, where it normally lives on the mantelpiece in the main bar.
